We’re looking for a production-minded supply chain pro who can synchronize materials, suppliers, and systems so our manufacturing floor never misses a beat.

What you’ll do

• Plan and buy materials via MRP to meet production, inventory, and cost targets across production/aftermarket/engineering demand.
• Own daily supply health: delivery schedules, product availability, expedites for the OPS plan, and incoming freight support.
• Apply inventory strategies: manage safety stock, optimize EOQs, and reduce obsolescence.
• Set and maintain planning parameters and master data to mirror real supply capabilities.
• Publish clear-to-build, coverage, and run-out reporting; perform what-if and scenario modeling for decisions.
• Lead the Vendor Request workflow (painting, galvanization, etc.).
• Build supplier relationships; resolve issues and escalate to procurement/AP/quality/engineering as needed.
• Onboard and train new suppliers on Haws processes and compliance.
• Coordinate supplier ramp-ups/downs for new product launches.
• Manage engineering changes with minimal scrap and no supply interruptions.
• Partner with IT and stakeholders to improve planning processes and systems.
• Consolidate logistics to achieve cost-savings goals.
• Execute daily buys with Workbench/Buysheet/Buycard; issue POs and confirm deliveries.
• Run shortage reports for priority sales orders; collaborate with Customer Service/Production Planning and guide buyers on hot items.
• Own the open PO report: prioritize by top models and drive follow-ups.
• Create and maintain a forward-planning tool for part shortages.
• Champion SLOB reviews and partner with Engineering to reduce slow/obsolete inventory.

What you bring

• Advanced Excel; deep experience with MRP/ERP in discrete manufacturing (BOMs, PLM, P2P, operations).
• Data-driven thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Supplier performance and relationship management experience.
• High energy, collaborative, and diplomatic; able to influence inside and outside Haws.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Independent, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Culturally Compatible and Good Attitude is a MUST!

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• 3+ years in manufacturing, finance, or supply chain management; or equivalent education/training/experience.
• Language: Exceptional command of English.
• Reasoning: Strong critical thinking.

Work & physical environment

Office environment. Onsite work and activities are required. Flexible work environment. Regular, reliable, predictable performance is needed.

• Long periods of seated work and computer use (up to 8 hours daily).
• Frequent standing/walking; routine hand use and occasional reaching; clear verbal/hearing capability.
• Lift up to 10 lbs frequently and 25 lbs occasionally.
• Vision requirements include near/far, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
