Our SLUCare Physician Group cardiothoracic surgeons offer highly specialized treatments for children with congenital and acquired heart defects and lung diseases. Our heart team is nationally ranked by U.S. News & World Report for pediatric cardiology and heart surgery. This honor recognizes excellence in clinical services, survival rates, and support for patients with congenital heart problems.As part of an academic medical practice, our cardiothoracic surgeons use the latest techniques and technologies to deliver advanced care in collaboration with other pediatric specialists, including experts in cardiology, neonatology, and maternal-fetal medicine. We work with patients at all stages, including those diagnosed before birth, newborns, infants, children, teens, and even adults, to correct conditions affecting the heart and lungs.
