Overview:

Sentara is hiring a Medical Physicist at the Brock Cancer Center, in Norfolk Virginia.

Sign on Bonus up to $25,000 offered for qualified candidates. Relocation packages available!

Overview

Provide technical assistance in the development of treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy; monitor patients; maintain established policies, procedures, objectives, quality measurement, and safety; perform clinical research as required.

American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics certification preferred.

Education

• Master's Degree in Medical Physics REQUIRED

Certification/Licensure

• ABR or ABMP Certification REQUIRED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification REQUIRED

Experience

• No experience required.
• Prior Radiation Physicist experience strongly preferred
