Industrial Janitor
Location: Amarillo, TX

Position Summary
System One is actively seeking a reliable and hardworking Industrial Janitor to support janitorial operations at a power plant facility in Amarillo, TX. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in both office and plant areas while adhering to safety and operational standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine janitorial services throughout office and plant areas
• Clean assigned areas of the power plant, including high-traffic and industrial spaces
• Maintain, strip, and wax floors as needed
• Remove trash and dispose of waste properly
• Maintain janitorial and breakroom supplies
• Prepare tea and coffee for employee lunch and break periods
• Work at elevated floor levels throughout the facility
• Perform cleaning duties in hot and cold environments
• Work outdoors as required

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Ability to lift up to approximately 60 pounds without assistance
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Comfortable working in industrial environments with varying temperatures

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Must be able to work independently
