Job Summary:

Perform a variety of manual tasks in cleaning, assembling, unpacking, wrapping, boxing and inspection of parts in accordance with standard procedures and techniques. Position may require the use of various assembly tools such as staple gun, tape measure, glue gun and others. The assembler will execute one and/or several tasks in any area of the assembly lines. This individual must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions and may be required to use sound judgment in resolving daily problems. The assembler will work as a team member to maintain optimum output. This person will develop assembling skills and focus efforts in ensuring the line’s objectives are met for Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and Productivity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Packaging phase, which consists of boxing, etc

· Clean and maintain tools, equipment and work area.

· Review work assignments with team members and supervisor to ensure all materials, supplies and components are available and in good condition.

· Ensure the tasks that are being performed meet quality and productivity standards.

· Work according to the Employee Guidelines, which include all safety rules and report any unsafe conditions to supervisor.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Education: GED or equivalent.

· Ability to communicate orally.

· Must have manual dexterity

· Ability to use hand tools.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be 18 years older

· Must pass the drug test

· Must pass the background check

· Must have a positive attitude

Physical Demands:

· Operation of hand and power tools

· Continual walking, standing, reaching, pushing, gripping, and handling.

· Use of hands to include grasping both firm and light.

· Occasional lifting, pushing and/or pulling over 50 lbs.

Environmental Factors:

· Work in non-climate-controlled conditions.

· Work around moving objects.

· Exposure to hot/cold temperatures based on outside condition

El Montador General realiza una variedad de tareas manuales que incluyen limpieza, ensamblaje, desempaque, envoltura, embalaje e inspección de piezas de acuerdo con procedimientos y técnicas estándar. Este puesto puede requerir el uso de diversas herramientas de ensamblaje, como pistolas de grapas, cintas métricas, pistolas de pegamento, entre otras. El montador ejecutará una o varias tareas en cualquier área de las líneas de ensamblaje, siguiendo instrucciones escritas y verbales, y utilizando buen criterio para resolver problemas diarios. Trabajando en equipo, esta persona ayudará a mantener una producción óptima, enfocándose en Seguridad, Calidad, Eficiencia y Productividad.

Funciones y responsabilidades

• Realizar tareas de empaque, incluyendo embalaje y envoltura.
• Limpiar y mantener herramientas, equipos y área de trabajo.
• Revisar asignaciones con compañeros y supervisores para asegurar que todos los materiales, suministros y componentes estén disponibles y en buen estado.
• Garantizar que las tareas cumplan con los estándares de calidad y productividad.
• Seguir las Normas del Empleado, incluyendo todas las reglas de seguridad, y reportar condiciones inseguras al supervisor.
• Realizar otras tareas asignadas.
• Apoyar las iniciativas de Igualdad de Oportunidades de Empleo.

Requisitos

• Educación: GED o equivalente.
• Capacidad para comunicarse oralmente.
• Destreza manual y habilidad para usar herramientas manuales.
• Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno de ritmo acelerado.
• Debe tener al menos 18 años.
• Debe aprobar prueba de drogas y verificación de antecedentes.
• Actitud positiva y mentalidad orientada al trabajo en equipo.

Demandas físicas

• Operación de herramientas manuales y eléctricas.
• Caminar, estar de pie, alcanzar, empujar, agarrar y manipular de forma continua.
• Uso frecuente de las manos para agarre firme y ligero.
• Levantamiento, empuje y/o arrastre ocasional de más de 50 libras.

Factores ambientales

• Trabajo en condiciones sin control climático.
• Trabajo cerca de objetos en movimiento.
• Exposición a temperaturas altas/bajas según las condiciones externas.
