Cloud Solution Specialist Infra - Microsoft Azure (IaaS & PaaS)

Location: Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Trivandrum. This is a hybrid opportunity.

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Solution Specialist, with deep expertise in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and governing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions for enterprise clients in a Managed Services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native applications using Azure PaaS offerings.
2. Lead the migration and modernization of legacy applications to Azure App Services and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
3. Define and implement API strategies using Azure API Management, including versioning, security, and lifecycle management.
4. Design, develop, and maintain Azure Automation runbooks (PowerShell, Python).
5. Use tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform to automate resource provisioning.
6. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure best practices in CI/CD, monitoring, and governance.
7. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams on Azure technologies and cloud-native patterns.
8. Develop architecture diagrams, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.
9. Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and cost optimization policies.
10. Stay current with Azure innovations and recommend adoption of new services where appropriate.

What we’re looking for

1. 10+ years of experience in IT with at least 4+ years in Azure cloud architecture.
2. Strong hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure API Management.
3. Proficiency in designing microservices and containerized applications.
4. Experience with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and Terraform.
5. Proficiency in scripting PowerShell, Python, ARM, and Terraform.
6. Solid understanding of networking, identity, and access management in Azure.
7. Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
9. Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Developer Associate are highly desirable. AZ-400 is must

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in a Managed Services or consulting environment.
• Ability to lead client workshops, architecture governance boards, and technical deep-dives.
